The Otago Branch of the New Zealand Association of Radio Transmitters Inc.

Thanks for your interest in Amateur Radio!

We are officially known as: “The Otago Branch of the New Zealand Association of Radio Transmitters Inc.” and were formed on the 9th August 1928 by Otago amateurs. Our parent body “The New Zealand Association of Radio Transmitters Inc.” (NZART) was formed in Auckland on 16th August 1926.

The Branch 30 call sign is ZL4AA and you will often hear this during contesting events or if you join one of our weekly VHF club nets on a Sunday night from 7.30pm.

This website offers more information about NZART Otago Branch 30 - it's history, where to find us, how to join and more.

You're most welcome to come along to any one of our upcoming club nights to find out more about us and amateur radio in general. We look forward to seeing you soon!
